It’s especially interesting to see the suggestions for the proposed Boulevard Mall and Audubon Stations in Amherst. Audubon is at the location of a major town government complex, with the Amherst police, Amherst town court, Audubon library, and a park. It’s an area currently largely inaccessible by transit, so changing that will be a boon for anyone who has business with the town. And Audubon will pretty much be the end of the line, with only a terminal station north of it at Dodge Road. This is a change from previous schemes shown for the Metro Rail extension, which could have gone as far as Crosspointe.

Abstract: To address post-booking and other issues, an application may be run on a user device, such as a mobile device, to provide improved, real-time travel organization and messaging. Some embodiments may also be configured to create, maintain, update, and delete a trip container to which trip content can be automatically or manually associated. In some instances, a user may be required to pay a fee to download the application and/or be required to pay a periodic subscription fee to facilitate ongoing functionality of the application. Maybe we’ve watched too much Dexter, but it sounds a little surprising that the TSA allows travelers to pack duct tape in either their carry-on or their checked bags. Duct tape has a practically countless array of uses, and makes a useful addition to your bag, wherever you’re going. We’d just advise against packing too much of it, so as not to raise any eyebrows.

Tariffs are import taxes, and like all taxes they end up being paid by consumers after being passed down the supply chain. While Trump’s tariffs might restrict the number of Chinese goods that flow into the United States, the main consequence of the White House’s new tariff announcement is that Americans will pay higher prices for everything from biscuits to televisions. China’s retaliatory tariffs might temporarily lower domestic prices for American-made goods, but will ultimately hurt American businesses that won’t be able to sell their products in China, one of the world’s fastest growing markets.

But now that Trump is president, tariffs are good, or at least not really bad, or at least smart negotiating, or a combination of that. Right?
